Lee Charles Stork, 55, of Warwick, R.I., and formerly of Glidden, died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012, at his home.

Mass of the Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 10, at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Glidden with the Rev. Dale Reiff as celebrant assisted by Deacon Gary Schon.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Glidden, where there will be a rosary at 3:30 p.m. and a Christian wake service at 7 p.m. by St. Elizabeth Seton Parish.

Lector for the Mass will be Blake Stork. Servers will be Noah Borkowski and Brady Danner. Gift bearers will be Lisa Borkowski, Leslie Winnett and Lori Danner. Eucharistic ministers will be Joleen Stork and Lori Danner. Casket bearers will be Zachary Stork, Lynn Stork, Lyle Stork, Mike Winnett, Dave Borkowski and Kevin Danner. Born Feb. 12, 1957, in Carroll, Lee was a son of Loras and Charlene (Bluml) Stork. He grew up on the family’s farm near Glidden and graduated from Glidden-Ralston Community School and Des Moines Area Community College.

He and Vicki Gregory were married Aug. 1, 1981, and the couple raised their family in Ralston and Glidden.  In 2006, Lee moved to North Carolina and then to Rhode Island to pursue his career. His positions included plant manager at Pella Corp. in Carroll, director of manufacturing at Ultra-Craft Cabinetry Corp. in North Carolina, operations manager at REEB Millwork Corp. in Rhode Island, and executive healthcare recruiter for HRP in Rhode Island.

He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to golf, ride his bike, garden, fish, and walk along the bay. He was also an enthusiastic home-improvement hobbyist.

Survivors include his mother, Charlene Stork of Glidden; his four children, Samantha Schneider and her husband Joel of Austin, Texas, Bridget Rosburg and her husband Doug of Kansas City, Mo., Melissa Stork and Travis Rudd of Overland Park, Kan., and Zachary Stork of Des Moines; his five siblings and their families, Lynn Stork and his wife Joleen of Glidden, Lori Danner and her husband Kevin of Glidden, Lyle Stork of Glidden, Lisa Borkowski and her husband Dave of Carroll, and Leslie Winnett and her husband Mike of Woodward, Iowa; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Lee was preceded in death by his father Loras J. Stork, in 1997
