A memorial service was officiated by the Rev. David Smith, S.J., on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017, at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan, Iowa. Brian’s wishes were to return to the mountains of Colorado that he loved so dearly.

He enjoyed watching football and the news, talking about the weather, playing golf, listening to country music, and hosting barbecues for friends and family. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and had an immense collection of Packer memorabilia.
