Guidelines for Contest Entries
The Carroll Public Library needs a logo to represent itself to the public. Anyone who likes to doodle, draw or be creative is encouraged to submit ideas.
Send or drop off your entry to the Carroll Public Library 118 E. 5th Street Carroll, IA 51401 by 8:00 p.m. January 31, 2011.
Entries should be on white paper with your name and contact information on the back.
Entries must be original artwork or graphics. Logos cannot contain copyrighted material. Logos may not include images or licensed images that have been previously published or are pending publication.
All entries become the property of the Carroll Public Library. Contestants agree the Carroll Public Library may publish their logo and name(s) and may use both in future advertising campaigns and/or marketing materials. Contestants assign all ownership rights, including all intellectual property rights, in and to the logo to the Carroll Public Library. The Carroll Public Library may alter, modify or revise the logo as it sees necessary.
A review panel made up of members of the Friends of the Library and the Library Board of Trustees will judge the logos. The review panel will select three finalists and one winner.
The winner will be announced on March 2- Dr. Seuss's birthday.
