Carroll Public Library hosts an overnight event for local Girl Scouts

A fun night at the Carroll Public Library was shared with Girl Scouts from the Carroll area on January 8th. They took over the library after hours to share games, snacks and talk about the annual cookie drive. Lots of books were read and a couple of movies were watched.
There were sleeping bags down the aisles and under tables. Whether any sleeping happened, I don’t know. Many of the girls had sleepy faces when I checked in on them Saturday morning. I thought I had really lucked out this morning as I was going through the shelves getting ready to open the library for the week when I spotted a box of Tagalongs wedged into the shelves. Was I ever disappointed to find it was only an empty box! I hope the girls found the library to be a treasure box of adventures and experiences. We were happy to host them and look forward to seeing them next year.
